WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Exemplifies Muckleshoot Casino Resort's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Practice, support, and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
• Create and serve a wide range of high-quality cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages with precision and artistry. Utilize extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, flavor profiles, and luxury ingredients to craft unique and visually appealing drinks.
• Promote positive guest relations and consistently prompt service and engage in conversations, recommend drinks based on guest preferences, and deliver a memorable experience that exceeds expectations.
• Engage in suggestive selling techniques to promote premium and specialty beverages, maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Assist in training new bartenders, ensuring consistency in beverage preparation, service standards, and knowledge.
• Take daily inventory and stock supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all bar equipment.
• Maintain an orderly, accurate par level for bar service outlets.
• Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment; promote positive team member relations and report issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• (One) year of experience in bartending is required.
• Bartending School or equivalent training preferred.
• Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
• Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Service Permit Class 12.
HOW YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL
• Knowledge of premium spirits, wines, champagne, and other luxury beverages.
• Knowledge of the BERG liquor dispensing system.
• Knowledge of P.O.S. systems.
• Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
• Skilled in basic math.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Ability to speak and read English, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with guests.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the luxury hotel and its guests.
• Must be 21 years or older.
