About this role
We have an immediate need for an organized, dependable Janitor/Custodian to join our maintenance staff. At Mercy Housing, you'll join a mission-driven team committed to justice, respect, mercy, inclusion, and personal growth—where your work transforms lives and communities.
The successful Janitor will provide clean affordable housing to the residents of the community. The Janitor will work with maintenance staff to coordinate a cleaning schedule.

Pay: $22.28-24.47/hour, depending on experience

Duties
• Cleans and maintains entry lobby, including cleaning of windows, doors, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, etc., at least daily, and more if necessary, to maintain excellent entrance appeal.
• Cleans laundry room, community room, conference room, and management offices on a daily basis.
• Vacuums hallways on a daily basis.
• Cleans community bathrooms on a daily basis (more if necessary) to maintain in a sanitary environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Two (2) years experience.
