About this role
Responsibilities
• Verifying the reliability, functionality and performance of our Software Development Kit (SDK) and video drivers.
• Participate in developing test plans, modifying and validating the test cases on different operating systems
• Document test results using Test Rail
• Entering functional and other performance problems found during testing using Jira software
• Assist the engineering group and provide feedback in reproducing and solving product related problems
Qualifications
• Student studying in a Bachelor's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Completed a minimum of 30 credits and with a GPA equal to or greater than 2.9/4.3 or 2.6/4.0
• Good knowledge of different operating systems including Microsoft Windows 11 , 10 including different versions of Linux
• Proven background of various PC hardware peripherals while being comfortable in changing different PC components following safety procedures
• Excellent software and hardware troubleshooting skills using Microsoft Windows 11, 10
• You have the ability to demonstrate root cause analysis
• You have strong motivation and leadership competences
• You have excellent attention to detail in your work while showing independence and information seeking
• You have strong critical thinking & problem solving, teamwork and coloration skills while displaying professionalism and good work ethic along with good oral & written communications
Assets:
• Good understanding of software and hardware networking tools including the OSI model
• Good understanding and various networking architectural environment's
• Good scripting and debugging skills
• Basic knowledge of different video technology and terminology
• Good English and French written and spoken skills
