Hours of Job
• Full-time - Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• 72 hours per pay period
• Every Third Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required in IV clinic 0800-1200
Duties and Key Responsibilities
• Demonstrates critical thinking, analysis and decision-making skills. Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage multiple interactions/events concurrently. Obtains and maintains successful completion responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Required to obtain and maintain successful completion of certifications as follows: Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) and drug screen collection procedures, Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC), and NIOSH approved spirometry and fit testing training within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to lead and work independently.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with providers and area employers.
• May be required to work off shift hours for employer/community events.
• Required to cross train to IV Clinic.
Requirements
• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
• Strength: Constantly required to push / pull and lift light objects less than 50 lbs. Occasionally required to push / pull more than 300 lbs (i.e. pushing a patient in a wheelchair or on a cart). In an emergency or stressful situation such as preventing or controlling a patient's fall, required to lower / lift upwards of 75 lbs.
• Constantly required to walk and stand for long periods of time. Frequently required to remain in uncomfortable positions for long periods of time, such as bending over equipment, counters, tables, and squatting. Must have full range of body motion.
Education/Certifications
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN
Experience
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
