About this role
Shift: Straight Evenings (4:00-12:00pm, rotational shifts as needed)
Key Responsibilities
• Operate the moulder and handle cutter heads safely and with care
• Set up the machine for various products including frame parts, dovetail, stock, and mouldings
• Perform start up, shut down, and routine maintenance including greasing and inspections
• Identify dull blades and sharpen or change them as required
• Read and interpret production paperwork and drawings
• Recognize wood species and their characteristics to ensure proper machining
• Feed, catch, inspect, and stack material safely while maintaining workflow
• Inspect product quality using templates and ensure all materials meet standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
