Responsibilities:

• Standardize best practices and implement systemic changes to processes and equipment to improve operational success rate.

• Troubleshoot and make corrections to machinery or operation settings to correct for material defects being introduced during processing and post-processing.

• Work with Process Engineers to provide feedback from the floor to drive process improvement through lowering costs, processing time, improving communication, product movement, available tools, etc.

• Investigate problems in production identify Root Causes and implement Corrective Actions.

• Tackle systemic problems in production and be able to investigate or propose creative solutions to fix problems.

• Maintain the Continuous Improvement Program and manage project ideas to resolution.

• Collect, analyze, summarize, and present production and process data to management.

• Use software tools to identify trends in data.

• Work with Maintenance to implement PMs to support Production Success.

• Create or modify work instructions in MS Word/Excel.

• Implement Lean/6-Sigma improvements in production.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production regarding tooling life and design to ensure effective and efficient production.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

• Experience in process and production engineering.

• Knowledge of quality control systems.

• Familiarity with safety regulations.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
