Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the setup of CNC machine tools, changing inserts, bars, collets, jaws and setting up automation.
• Adjust the cutting insert as necessary during operation.
• Act properly and timely when nonconforming process or product is detected to problem solve resolution to issue.
• Effectively communicate job-related information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple setups of machines and pay close attention to details.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow blueprints.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
• Understand 2 axis coordinate system.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow complicated arithmetic, geometric and algebraic calculations.
• Skilled in the use of comparators, digital micrometers, drop gages, etc.
