Summary
The HVAC Technician will maintain all heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and assist with the maintenance of Kearney Buckle Facilities and material handling systems including, the Distribution Center, Ecommerce Center and Corporate Offices, The Buckle Retail Store located in Kearney and airport hangers as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

• Maintain all Kearney facilities HVAC systems.
• Use Trane BMS in maintaining and troubleshooting facilities HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.
• Diagnose and repair automated material handling systems, electronics, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical devices.
• Assist with installation of new electrical, plumbing and data cable services.
• Must be able to qualify and operate powered material handling and man lift equipment.
• Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) in addition to a technical degree from a two year Technical school In HVAC field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess/obtain and maintain all current certifications required to perform job functions.

While performing the duties of this Job, the Teammate is occasionally required to stand for up to 8 hours or more; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The Teammate is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Teammate must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Teammate must be comfortable working at heights on a multilevel mezzanine, on man lift equipment and have the ability to climb multi-level of stairs on a daily basis. Also regularly required to bend, twist and turn at waist. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in an outdoor setting and in a Distribution Center setting. The Teammate is regularly exposed to outdoor elements such as cold, heat and dust/pollens, as well as and moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
