Overview: 2020 Companies is hiring a Systems Support Technician II to work in our office overlooking Texas Motor Speedway!
About the Role We are looking for a Systems Support Technician II to join our IT team and provide hands-on technical support across a diverse and evolving technology environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working directly with users, and gaining experience with both traditional IT systems and modern cloud-based technologies.
You’ll work with technologies such as Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, mobile device management, endpoint security, networking, and VPN connectivity. The role also provides opportunities to participate in technology deployments and IT projects, troubleshoot issues beyond basic help desk support, and expand your skills across multiple areas of enterprise IT.
This is a permanent, in-office position working Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional after-hours or weekend support as needed.
What You’ll Do
• Provide professional technical support for employees
• Troubleshoot Windows laptop and desktop hardware and software issues
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office
• Prepare, configure, deploy, and replace Windows computers and mobile devices
• Support devices managed through Microsoft Intune
• Create and manage user accounts, groups, devices, and access in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Troubleshoot VPN, Wi-Fi, internet, printer, and general connectivity issues
• Support remote employees using remote access and support tools
• Support company-managed Android and iOS devices
• Assist with endpoint security, device compliance, and Microsoft Defender-related issues
• Install and troubleshoot printers, monitors, docking stations, and other peripherals
• Maintain accurate ticket notes, technical documentation, and equipment records
• Assist with IT deployments, hardware refreshes, and other technology projects
• Escalate complex issues when appropriate
What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years of relevant IT support, desktop support, or systems support experience
• Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Microsoft Intune experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting Android and iOS devices
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and basic network troubleshooting
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, printers, and peripherals
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and document work accurately
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Job Description:
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve laptop, desktop, and mobile device hardware issues
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Microsoft 365 and other Windows related software issues
• Install and configure hardware and software on computers and mobile devices, including peripherals such as phones, printers, external drives, and other related hardware
• Create, prepare, test and deploy hard drive images and be capable of supporting users in a virtual desktop environment
• Perform basic wired and wireless network troubleshooting
• Support remote employees and devices using remote access tools and VPN connectivity
• Create and manage Active Directory user accounts and security groups
• Perform system backup and restore files on computers during repairs and replacement computer deployments
• Develop, document, and effectively communicate job processes, procedures, and ticket resolutions
• Organize equipment, supplies and paperwork
• Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Technical Degree with Certification preferred
• 3-5 years relevant work experience
• Technical break/fix experience replacing components for laptops and desktops (hard drives, LCD screens, power supplies, memory, keyboards, etc.)
• Knowledge of computer networking, terminology, and methodology
• Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Effectively prioritize and organize multiple projects at one time with strong attention to detail
• Ability to successfully meet deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Ability to communicate and work well with other departments
