Your Role
• Lead Logistics Provider Management: Build strategic partnerships with logistics service providers and drive provider performance across transportation and logistics networks.
• Drive Provider Performance and Governance: Lead provider performance programs, governance structures, business reviews, escalation management, and continuous improvement initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Lead Tender and Sourcing Activities: Independently manage transportation and warehousing tenders, develop evaluation methodologies, assess supplier capabilities, and drive provider selection decisions from strategy through implementation.
• Shape Commercial and Contractual Frameworks: Manage commercial evaluations, contract negotiations, service level agreements, and sourcing strategies while balancing business requirements, risks, and long-term value creation.
• Drive Data-Based Decisions: Analyze logistics performance using SAP, Excel, Power BI, KPIs, and logistics reporting tools. Develop recommendations, business cases, performance insights, and strategic decision proposals.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify performance trends, root causes, and optimization opportunities across logistics processes and provider networks. Lead standardization and improvement initiatives with sustainable results.
• Manage Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Engage and align stakeholders across Procurement, Business Units, Shared Service Centers, Logistics Operations, IT, and Logistics Service Providers to achieve common objectives.
• Shape Logistics Strategies: Act as a subject matter expert in logistics provider management and contribute to strategic logistics decisions beyond your immediate area of responsibility.

• Subject Matter Expert in Logistics Provider Management: You are recognized as a subject matter expert in logistics provider management and have a proven ability to drive improvements, influence decisions, and shape logistics strategies beyond your immediate area of responsibility.
• A Natural Prospector: You proactively build relationships, challenge the status quo, and create opportunities where none existed before. You are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and driving initiatives across organizational boundaries.
• Deep Logistics Service Provider Expertise: You have extensive experience working with freight forwarders, transportation providers, contract logistics providers, parcel carriers, and warehousing partners. You understand market dynamics, provider capabilities, and industry trends.
• Strategic Provider Management Experience: You have a proven track record in provider performance management, governance, supplier development, and business review processes.
• Proven Tender and Sourcing Leadership: You have successfully led complex transportation and warehousing tenders and can independently guide sourcing processes from concept through implementation.
• Strong Commercial and Contractual Acumen: You understand logistics cost structures, commercial models, contracts, service level agreements, and business risks, and can identify value creation opportunities.
• Experienced Negotiator: You have successfully managed complex negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders while balancing commercial, operational, and strategic objectives.
• Advanced Analytical Capabilities: You are highly proficient in SAP, Excel, Power BI, and logistics reporting environments and can transform data into actionable recommendations and strategic decisions.
• End-to-End Logistics Understanding: You possess deep knowledge of transportation and supply chain processes and understand interactions between business units, logistics providers, procurement, and operational stakeholders within international supply chains.
• Influential Stakeholder Management Skills: You effectively engage cross-functional and international stakeholders, manage escalations professionally, and build long-term partnerships based on trust and results.
• International Mindset: You operate confidently in an international environment, facilitate workshops, lead negotiations, and communicate effectively with management and external partners.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (German is an advantage).
