Job Description:
Vitalant is seeking a Donor Care Technician III dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Donor Care Technician III is Vital. You will contribute to Vitalant' life-saving mission by creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.
What to Expect
Base Pay: $22.38 - $22.88
Schedule: Schedule varies, however our teams regularly clock in between 5:30 am to 11:00am and end times up until 9:00pm. Includes 2 - 4 Overnight stays per month. (Hotel, transportation provided, and meals reimbursed).

As a Donor Care Tech III, you'll get to
• Perform donor interviews and appropriately determine donation eligibility.
• Participate in donor rebooking activities.
• Perform whole blood, double red cell, platelet and plasma phlebotomy of donors in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
• Works as part of a team to achieve daily team production goal. Assists and supports other team members, as required on both Mobile and Fixed Sites.
• Great customer service and interpersonal skills
• Active driver's license with clean driving record.
• High School Graduate or GED
• Six (6) months previous experience as a Donor Care Tech
• To include training and competent on Trima Blood Collection Systems
• Ability to travel as required
• Able to lift 40lbs
