About this role
As a Risk, Fraud and Payments (RFP) Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of our platform by overseeing payment processing, detecting and preventing fraud, and ensuring full compliance with AML and KYC regulations. You will be the first line of defence against suspicious activity and will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure secure, seamless financial transactions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk & Fraud Detection:
• Conduct client due diligence and enhanced due diligence (CDD/EDD) for high-risk users / transactions, including Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), ensuring full compliance with AML regulations.
• Perform the due diligence on Clients by collecting the KYC information, documentation, review and verify received documentation and make an analytical risk assessment for new Clients.
• Perform review of customers that have been flagged as potential Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Sanction matches during registration, collect PEP declarations where necessary.
• Monitor and investigate suspicious transactions using risk assessment tools and escalate cases such as PEPs and other high-risk clients to the MLRO or management as needed.
• Identify and act on fraudulent activities including credit card fraud, chargebacks, identity theft, phishing, and money laundering.
• Implement and manage real-time alerting for suspicious transactions and apply mitigation procedures.
Payments Monitoring & Operations:
• Address and resolve internal and external payment-related inquiries, collaborating with external payment providers as necessary.
• Process player deposits and withdrawals according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor payment provider approval ratios and analyze transaction performance to recommend improvements and ensure secure, efficient payment flows.
• Implement and oversee payment processing workflows in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
• Analyse and escalate suspicious activity reports (SARs) in line with AML policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the Compliance department to maintain and enhance AML frameworks and reporting structures.
• Periodically evaluate existing Clients according to established policies and procedures.
• Keep good understanding of Customer due diligence regulations, policies and procedures.
Shift work: between Monday and Sunday.

Requirements:
• 2–3 years’ experience in a risk, fraud, payments, or AML role—preferably in iGaming industry (online casino or sportsbook)
• Practical knowledge of various fraud detection techniques, experience with fraud monitoring and online payment systems (knowledge of PaymentsIQ would be an asset)
• Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) requirements. Understanding regulations within various iGaming jurisdictions / markets
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify actionable insights
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to resolving challenges and improving processes
• Detail-oriented with sharp analytical and investigative skills and the ability to identify and address irregular activity
