Passion for Life was created to be a high-energy and engaging process that helps students identify their passions and gain clarity on how to utilize their core strengths and talents to select a career.
Who you are
This impactful role involves guiding middle and high school students through self-discovery exercises, career exploration, and goal setting to help them realize their potential. As a Career Coach, you will guide in-person workshops and group coaching sessions, using an interactive and engaging approach to inspire students to define and pursue their career aspirations.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about guiding youth and helping students unlock their potential. We are looking for a diverse group of Career Coaches who can work with youth/teenagers, go through our training program and inspire students to find their passion/purpose.
Term limit: detailed training is provided, 4-month unpaid internship position that fully meets requirements for school credits/ certifications with hands on experience provided (including projects, hours requirements, hands on experience and all paperwork that goes with it). Can be extendable on mutual agreement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Career Guidance and Goal Setting: Assist students in identifying personal interests, strengths, and career goals, helping them to create personalized career development plans and set SMART goals.
• Facilitating School-based Programming: Lead high-energy, interactive group sessions based on a structured workshop script to engage students in self-discovery and career planning.
• Student Progress Monitoring: Track and evaluate students’ progress by documenting individual needs, goals, and action steps after each session to ensure continuous development.
• Advising on Career Pathways: Use assessments to help students evaluate their aptitudes and interests and advise them on relevant educational and career pathways.
• Building Resilience and Personal Development: Support students in developing resilience and a growth mindset, preparing them to overcome challenges they may face in achieving their career goals.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
• Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or a related field.
• Classified as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.
• Needs internship credits or seeking professional certification

Additional Information
Participation and Availability
• Weekly at school coaching: Must be able to present 1-2 times a week at a designated school location for several hours. Weekly commitment of 10 hours total.
• Training: Weekly in-person training is provided to guide through the program. All hours are eligible for ceritification and school credits.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a solid commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
Location and Work Authorization
• Candidates must be based in Atlanta, Georgia and have legal authorization to work/study in U.S.
