We are looking for an experienced Powerplant Engineer to join our Magnetic Engines team in Tallinn, Estonia.
Main Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and follow up the complete aircraft engine repair process, including preparation and control of work scopes, AD/LLP statuses, NRCs, task cards, engine condition reports, and shop visit documentation
• Review and interpret OEM documentation, BSI reports, engine monitoring data, MPA run reports, EDS, and other technical information to support engineering decisions and repair activities
• Prepare and control technical documentation in accordance with applicable OEM requirements, while ensuring completed work cards and repair activities are properly documented
• Maintain effective communication with Engine Workshop personnel, engineering, Quality Assurance, customers, CFM Customer Support Centre, and external suppliers throughout the repair process
• Monitor applicable regulatory and technical updates, including ADs and OEM publications, and support the continuous improvement and technical development of engine maintenance activities
Main Requirements:
• MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; aerospace engineering education is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in an aircraft engine overhaul environment, preferably working with CFM56 and/or LEAP engines
• In-depth knowledge of relevant OEM documentation, portals, and technical software, such as myCFM, Boeing Toolbox Remote, Airbus AirnavX, Blamap, and Blade Plot
• Good understanding of applicable aviation regulations and authority requirements, with the ability to work with FAA and EASA regulatory documentation and websites
• Professional English proficiency (minimum B2), with strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills; experience with MRO software such as AMOS, Quantum, Axapta, or Ramco is an advantage
