STAR is a dynamic and growing organization dedicated to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to support efficient production of high-quality parts. This role works closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure products meet specifications and production goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and machining operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining processes.
• Perform program prove-outs and make adjustments to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate program documentation and revision control.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and increase productivity.
Qualifications
• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in machining or manufacturing technology.
• 2+ years of CNC programming experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing software systems.
