About this role

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements: We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in Modern Workplace, Technical Workplace, Digital Workplace, End User Computing (EUC) or Workplace Technology leadership.We require demonstrable experience managing and governing services delivered through a Managed Service Provider (MSP).We need strong supplier relationship management experience, including strategic account management, technical service management, service governance, managing technical change, and performance management against SLAs and KPIs.We require strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Intune.We need experience managing outsourced workplace services covering laptops, software, applications and end-user technology.We require a strong understanding of cloud-based workplace platforms and SaaS technologies.We need excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at both technical and executive levels.We require proven ability to challenge suppliers and influence outcomes through technical credibility and commercial awareness.We need experience overseeing IT Asset Management and software licensing activities.We require strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.Desirable experience includes Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and financial services or other highly regulated environments.ITIL experience is desirable. Responsibilities: We act as the primary technology lead for all Modern Workplace services delivered through the Managed Service Provider.We manage the day-to-day relationship between our organisation and our MSP, ensuring service levels, performance metrics and contractual obligations are met.We provide technical leadership and challenge to suppliers, ensuring solutions align with our business and technology objectives.We oversee workplace technology services including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, endpoint management and collaboration platforms.We lead technical governance activities, service reviews and operational performance meetings with the MSP.We drive and manage workplace technology change initiatives across devices, software, applications and cloud services.We ensure outsourced workplace services remain secure, resilient, compliant and aligned with best practice.We manage technical escalations and service issues, working directly with suppliers to achieve timely resolution.We oversee IT Asset Management activities including hardware, software licensing and lifecycle management.We support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee experience and workplace productivity.We monitor service performance, identify opportunities for optimisation and drive measurable improvements.We support budgetary oversight, supplier spend reviews and cost-efficiency initiatives. We are offering an initial 6-month contract with a competitive day rate inside IR35. The role is based in Leeds City Centre with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week on-site. This is a senior Modern Workplace Technology Lead position within a highly respected organisation, focused on technical service delivery, supplier performance, technology change and strategic workplace initiatives through an outsourced support model. We are not seeking a people manager; instead, the role centres on managing modern workplace services through an MSP and working closely with senior stakeholders, technology partners and service providers to improve our workplace environment.
