Requirements: We require strong skills in designing and executing tests across functional and non-functional quality areas.We require experience working in an agile environment and contributing to test planning, risk analysis and effort estimation.We require excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers and stakeholders.We require a strong understanding of test automation and the ability to explain coded and non-coded solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.We require experience leveraging non-functional and low/no-code automation, AI-driven tools and modern testing platforms, alongside traditional scripted automation approaches.You must be a British Citizen at the time of application.You must be required to attain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.You may be required to travel between our UK offices on a monthly basis. Responsibilities: We lead the test analysis and risk assessment of products, services, processes and changes.We identify quality risks and evaluate the business impact of testing outcomes.We define and manage test requirements.We oversee the design, build, execution and maintenance of test suites.We ensure appropriate test techniques are applied across functional and non-functional areas.We refine our work using structured feedback loops.We establish and manage defect management processes.We provide leadership and high-quality coaching to our teams.We communicate testing strategies, progress and outcomes to senior and cross-functional stakeholders.We contribute to the design, development and continuous improvement of digital products and services.We work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure systems meet user needs, technical requirements and organisational standards. This is a full-time, permanent role based in London or East Kilbride, working under our hybrid policy with a minimum of 60% in the office. We offer a total package of £46,000 plus a location allowance of £5,000 in London or £46,000 in East Kilbride, along with benefits including a Civil Service pension.
