Salary: £100,000 - 120,000 per year
Requirements: Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect or similar role, designing and delivering cloud solutions at scale.Strong experience working across Microsoft Azure, AWS or hybrid cloud environments.Recognised cloud certifications, such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect Professional.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation, including technologies such as Terraform and Bicep.Strong experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud delivery practices.A solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, governance and secure architecture principles.Experience working within large-scale enterprise or telecommunications environments would be highly beneficial.Experience working alongside third-party suppliers and vendors within complex client environments.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to lead technical workshops and influence decision-making.The ability to balance strategic architectural thinking with the practical requirements of delivering solutions successfully.Experience supporting cloud transformation programmes and modernising technology environments.A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for automation, operational improvement and technical innovation.Strong organisational and delivery skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple priorities and stakeholders. Responsibilities: Designing and delivering scalable, secure and resilient cloud solutions across Azure, AWS and hybrid environments.Owning the technical architecture and helping shape the direction of cloud-based solutions from initial design through to implementation.Leading architecture workshops and working closely with client stakeholders to understand requirements and define appropriate technical solutions.Advising Product Owners on the infrastructure implications of product backlogs, roadmaps and delivery decisions.Taking ownership of infrastructure design, provisioning and change activities required to support successful delivery.Provisioning cloud infrastructure components and managing appropriate access within Azure and AWS environments.Coordinating access to existing client infrastructure and supporting the technical onboarding of new environments, teams or tenants.Taking ownership of architecture, technical design and relevant code deliverables, ensuring solutions meet high standards of quality.Supporting cloud transformation initiatives from strategy through to implementation and helping identify opportunities for further improvement.Identifying operational inefficiencies and developing automation solutions that reduce manual effort across delivery teams.Ensuring cloud solutions meet appropriate security, compliance and governance requirements without compromising performance or scalability.Working closely with other Cloud Engineering and delivery teams to support successful implementation and technical integration.Supporting Project Managers and Delivery Leads with technical input into planning, prioritisation, sprint activities and delivery progress.Providing clear technical updates and insight to programme leadership, supporting wider reporting, assurance and strategic decision-making.
