About this role

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements: Typically, a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a related fieldExperience in a range of roles within a relevant complex engineering environmentMay be required to maintain security clearanceAbility to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard Check (BPSS) as a minimumSome roles will require further national security vetting checksAbility to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK, and employment and/or education history for up to three yearsSome vacancies may require full Security Clearance Responsibilities: Apply sound engineering judgement to ensure products are developed to be supportableDevelop the support solution and acquire the necessary resources for supportHelp shape the design for support and develop the support solution architectureTailor the scope and scale of ILS activities to meet the User, Customer, and our requirementsWork collaboratively with designers to improve reliability, maintainability, and usability aspects of our designsProvide input to the development of the optimum support solution for each customer within the context of a wider product and capability roadmapComplete life cycle cost analyses, level of repair analyses, sparing analyses, and failure modes and effects analysesElicit and derive support requirements and propose verification methods for requirementsDevelop supportability cases and conduct analyses to provide progressive assurance of support solutionsPerform reliability modelling and undertake maintainability analysis to optimize support arrangementsAssess the human element of systems, including the potential for human error as a contributor to system failuresPrepare, or provide input to, technical manuals such as troubleshooting guides or operations and maintenance manualsAssist with the identification and mitigation of hazards through system hazard analysisFormulate and implement the obsolescence strategy for a product lineSupport the continuous improvement of processes, policies, and procedures Technologies: SupportSecurity More:
