Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements: Minimum two years experience in data analysis within a maritime environment.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Experience using data visualisation and reporting tools.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience managing multiple priorities and working under pressure.Level 2 Maths and English, or equivalent.Understanding of data security and information governance.Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.Level 4 Data Analyst qualification, or equivalent experience, is desirable.Knowledge of AIS and maritime reporting systems is desirable.Experience supporting maritime domain awareness activities is desirable.Strong situational assessment skills within maritime operations are desirable. Responsibilities: Analyse and interpret data from multiple information sources.Identify trends, patterns and anomalies to support operational decision-making.Produce reports, dashboards and visualisations to support stakeholders.Record and report maritime security events and incidents.Manage Requests for Information (RFI) processes and information dissemination.Monitor operational systems and ensure data accuracy and integrity.Support stakeholder engagement activities and external communications.Conduct daily and weekly operational checks.Provide on-call support, including emergency call handling and liaison with vessels, authorities and partner agencies.Support continuous improvement of analytical processes and reporting. We are recruiting for an Operations Support Analyst to join our specialist maritime operations team based in Portsmouth at Portsdown Technology Park. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, plus an on-call rota of one week out of three, including night shifts. The role combines data analysis, operational support and stakeholder engagement to help maintain maritime security awareness and support safe global trade across international regions.
