Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per year
Requirements: Hands-on computer repair experience; we are looking for someone comfortable opening a machine and fixing it.Ability to make up and repair cabling.Confident communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.Methodical and organised, with the ability to keep track of physical stock.Right to work in the UK.Debain 13 (or other Linux) experience is desirable.Comfort working in a terminal is desirable.Network diagnostics experience is desirable, including DNS, DHCP, switching, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.Google Workspace or ChromeOS admin exposure is desirable.Any scripting or automation experience is desirable. Responsibilities: Dispatch, track, and manage inventory of IT equipment across the business, including our Chromebook fleet and peripherals.Provide first line support for our custom in-house applications, including logging, triaging, resolving issues, and escalating to the development team where needed.Provide first line support for HubSpot and Zapier, including user setup, permissions, and troubleshooting broken automations.Diagnose hardware faults, replace components, image devices, and prepare them for issue.Make up, test, and repair cabling as required.Keep asset records, documentation, and support notes accurate and up to date.Operate in line with our values and behaviours and implement our policies and standards.Stay up to date with the latest networking, server, and hardware technologies.Participate in industry training and certification programs.Receive mentorship from senior IT staff and management.Contribute to the improvement of IT support processes and infrastructure standards.Take ownership of larger infrastructure projects and contribute to technical direction. We are a small technical team offering a hands-on first line support role based full time in our Bexley office.
