We are supporting a product-focused organisation that is investing heavily in modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted development and spec-driven engineering. We offer a highly collaborative environment where engineers are encouraged to influence technical decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, and help shape how software is built. This role is suited to an engineer who enjoys working across the full software development lifecycle, with a particular focus on backend engineering while contributing across the wider technology stack. Additional information includes immediate availability or up to 2 weeks notice preferred, a hybrid working model with our Leeds office every Tuesday and Thursday, an initial contract running until December 2026 with potential for extension, and a two-stage interview process.
