Requirements: We require a UK citizen with 5 years UK residency, currently in the UK.We require strong DevOps knowledge across source control such as Git, Bitbucket, or VSTS.We require continuous integration experience such as Jenkins.We require practical experience with infrastructure automation and deployment automation/orchestration.We require familiarity with container concepts and orchestration such as Kubernetes.We require experience working with cloud environments such as AWS.We require hands-on use of infrastructure automation tools, including Ansible scripting.We require network awareness and an understanding of testing practices.Active or eligible SC candidates are required. Responsibilities: We will provide environment management, I&T development and maintenance, and Java feature development and testing capabilities.We will work alongside the existing CDS programme to deliver nationally critical infrastructure. We are supporting a tender under the DALAS Lot 3 framework, where IBM is an existing supplier. The role is for an Infrastructure Specialist on a 6-12 month contract, remote within the UK, with potential travel to London, Manchester, Leicester, Hursley, Glasgow, or Edinburgh. The rate is £510 per day inside IR35, umbrella only. We are looking for someone ready to support nationally critical infrastructure with a team that values delivery excellence.
