Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for someone who is aware of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.We need experience of being involved in, or leading, elements of a project, including basic project management tools and techniques.We need presentation skills and the ability to deliver training.Some knowledge of IT systems such as M-Type, SCE, TMS and Info View is ideal.We need data analysis and solution design skills.We need strong MS Office proficiency, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and BI.We need experience of working closely with operations and developing effective working relationships.We need experience of implementing change in a challenging environment.We need experience of working in a project environment and in improvement activity. Responsibilities: We oversee delivery of the site CI plan and act as PMO for the site while supporting the Operational Excellence Strategy.We facilitate change activity on site to deliver Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People benefits, encouraging colleague participation.We monitor and support delivery of the site CI plan with site teams, the Regional CI Manager(s) and the broader Projects team, ensuring site CI activity goes through the appropriate gateways and sign-off.We report progress, risks, issues and benefits relating to all site-based CI and project activity.We work with site colleagues to identify improvement opportunities across health and safety, quality, cost, service and engagement for the site CI plan.We track and report benefits identified and realised locally, and support more effective site resource planning to improve bottom line performance.We lead the delivery of small projects to unlock benefit.We support the upskilling and coaching of colleagues on basic CI, problem solving and work stream management.We support major system change on site where required, including requirements gathering, process mapping and problem solving.We support data gathering for diagnostics, solution design and benefits tracking.We support the delivery and governance of new operational processes to sustain change, including visual management, auditing, feedback sessions and SOP updates.We work with the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator and senior teams to keep colleagues updated on change and CI activity through an agreed communication strategy and plan.We support senior stakeholder engagement.We support the delivery of the business-wide Change and CI strategy by working with the Central Projects and CI team and other CI Practitioners.
