Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements: Strong experience across several of the following: AWS / Cloud Platforms, Kubernetes, Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, DevOps / DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Docker / Containers, Automation / Configuration Management, Linux, Cloud-native architecture, Security tooling / secure software deliveryExperience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) or developer enablement platforms would be particularly interestingExposure to tools or concepts including Coder, SAST, DAST, SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning or policy-as-code would also be advantageousAWS certification at Associate level or above would be beneficial but is not essential where the practical experience is strongExperience working within high-security, government, defence, national security or similarly regulated environments would be advantageousCandidates must hold current active eDV security clearance, or at a minimum DV clearance with willingness to undergo eDV Responsibilities: Design, build and maintain secure cloud-native platformsDevelop automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration and operational workflowsBuild and improve CI/CD pipelinesImplement Infrastructure-as-CodeWork extensively with Kubernetes / containerised environmentsEmbed security throughout engineering and software delivery processesSupport modern DevSecOps practicesImprove platform resilience, scalability and observabilityWork across software engineering, infrastructure and security teamsSupport developer platforms and improve the overall developer experienceWork within highly secure / regulated technical environments Technologies: AWSCI/CDCloudDevSecOpsDevOpsDockerSupportKubernetesLinuxSecurityTerraform More:
We are a rapidly growing UK technology organisation developing highly secure, scalable and automated platforms for some of the UKs most demanding technical environments. This is a genuinely hands-on role across Platform Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Infrastructure and Software Delivery. We work with modern cloud-native technologies in a fast-moving environment with low bureaucracy, on complex projects where security, performance and reliability genuinely matter. The role is based in Cheltenham on a hybrid working basis, and the package includes a £100,000 basic salary, discretionary bonus, benefits, training and professional certification opportunities, and exposure to modern Cloud, Platform Engineering and secure technology environments. There is flexibility above the advertised salary for particularly strong individuals with the right technical background and clearance.
