Help us build QWC’s new Rope Access Department QWC.dk ApS is a Danish window cleaning and specialist access company based in Glostrup. We carry out professional window cleaning, glass restoration and complex assignments where specialist access methods are required. We are now establishing a dedicated rope access department and are looking for an experienced, proactive and hands-on IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor who wants to help build the department from the beginning. The position As our Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily planning, supervision and safe execution of QWC’s rope access operations. The position combines on-site supervision, practical rope access work, safety planning and client communication. You will work alongside the team and play a central role in developing our procedures, equipment setup and working methods. You will have the authority and responsibility to stop any operation that you consider unsafe. Main responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Planning and supervising rope access operations at sites throughout Denmark Preparing and maintaining risk assessments, APV documentation, method statements and rescue plans Conducting pre-work briefings and toolbox talks Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Danish legislation, QWC procedures and applicable IRATA standards Selecting and checking rope access systems, rigging and anchor points within your professional competence Establishing exclusion zones and protecting clients, employees and members of the public Supervising rope access technicians and verifying that team members have the necessary qualifications and competence Inspecting, controlling and documenting rope access equipment and personal protective equipment Planning emergency and rescue procedures Communicating with clients before, during and after assignments Participating directly in practical rope access work, including window cleaning and specialist façade and glass assignments Assisting with other window cleaning operations during periods without scheduled rope access work Helping QWC develop a professional, efficient and safety-focused rope access department Your qualifications We expect that you: Hold a valid IRATA Level 3 certificate Have an up-to-date and correctly maintained IRATA logbook Hold a current and relevant first aid certificate Have practical experience supervising rope access operations Have strong knowledge of risk assessment, rescue planning, equipment control and safe systems of work Can communicate professionally in spoken and written English Can communicate clearly with technicians, management and clients Are proactive, responsible and comfortable making safety-critical decisions Take a practical approach and are willing to work alongside the team Can work independently and remain calm in demanding situations Are willing to travel to different work locations throughout Denmark Are physically capable of carrying out rope access work Danish language skills are an advantage, but they are not a requirement. English is required. Experience with window cleaning, façade cleaning, building maintenance or similar specialist work is an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
