In the position as Group Claims Handler, you will be responsible for providing first-class handling of claims, received from our customers for damages to their goods. You will play a meaningful role and support the entire organization, working closely with colleagues all over the world, in accordance with our virtues. The position With a focus on claims handling, the position will also be met with a broad variety of questions from colleagues and be involved in projects as part of the global legal and insurance team. With good sparring within the team there is therefore good possibilities to learn and grow within other areas. The team you’ll be joining currently consists of 7 full-time and 3 part-time professionals providing insurance and legal support to the global organization on a broad range of different matters. You will have a base in our head office in Hvidovre. Your tasks may include: Handling of freight forwarders liability claims. Assistance with cargo claims. Recovery action against carriers. Assistance with other insurance related tasks and claims. Risk Management. Development of the department. What we expect you to bring: With this great opportunity at hand, we’re looking for the right person to join us. You aren’t perfect and neither are we. But to guide you as to whether you will thrive with us, here are some requirements we are looking for: Experience from a similar position at a freight forwarder, carrier or from an insurance company. Also handling of other types of claims could have relevance. Fluent in Danish and English both verbally and in writing. Excellent communication skills. Relevant insurance education is an advantage, but not a requirement Your mindset and attitude: An eye for details and able to provide simple solutions and guidance to complex issues. Structured. Not afraid to take the initiative and responsibility. Work well in a busy corporation. Team player. Work closely with other departments both in Denmark and around the world.
