About this role

Job summary

The Paediatric Critical Care and Surgery in Children Operational Delivery Networks work collaboratively with 17 units across the East of England to support delivery of care to children and their families. We have and exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our team to provide comprehensive, high quality administrative support to the Paediatric Critical Care and Surgery in Children Operational Delivery Networks. This role includes complex diary management for team members in both networks, communication with a wide range of stakeholders, set up and coordination of online meetings and larger face to face events, minute-taking and education team administration including managing bookings and payments for study days and other educational events. The post also involves support for the ODN team with data collection/entry and the preparation of reports. Please note this role is non patient facing and mainly administrative. Hours to be worked Monday - Friday. This post involves remote working with some requirement to travel within the EoE, including to host base in Cambridge.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an experienced administrator to support a remote team. The post holder will be required to support multiple ODN team members and this will require excellent prioritisation and time management skills as well as a flexible approach. The post holder should be able to coordinate multiple diaries and manage team email inboxes. The ODN teams work with a wide variety of stakeholders within the East of England and nationally, and the post holder should be able to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels. The post holder will be involved in the coordination of network data collection, ensuring submissions are received on time and are collated accurately. Experience of Microsoft 365 packages is essential as is the ability to work with Excel spreadsheets. The education team run various events, both virtually and face to face - therefore experience of event planning/coordination is also beneficial.

All roles in the Trust include a mandatory 12-week training period. Therefore, successful candidates are expected to have the Right to Work for a period of at least 6 months from the proposed start date.
