We're a large, innovative GP practice in Harrow looking for GPs with drive and motivation to join our team.
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic GPs to join our large, forward-thinking practice in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with scope to develop interests in teaching, leadership, research and portfolio work.
Main duties of the job
Four to Six sessions
Required days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Potential extended access session on Saturday
The role will include routine and urgent general practice work, patient consultations, prescribing and appropriate follow-up. The successful candidate will work closely with our wider clinical team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, safe patient care. An interest in diabetes, particularly insulin initiation, would be especially welcomed.

Belmont Health Centre is a large GP practice in Harrow with a strong focus on teamwork, innovation and service development. We are a training practice for GP registrars and undergraduate students, actively involved in primary care research, and we host PCN services, including Extended Access and Spirometry. We have established systems to reduce routine GP administrative workload and support clinicians to focus on patient care.
Job description Job responsibilities
The Salaried GP will provide high-quality general medical services to registered patients, working as part of the wider multidisciplinary practice team. The role will include face-to-face and telephone consultations, clinical triage, diagnosis and treatment, prescribing, referrals, management of long-term conditions, urgent care and appropriate follow-up.
The postholder will be expected to maintain accurate clinical records, participate in practice meetings and clinical governance activities, contribute to quality improvement and work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, PAs and the administrative team.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to areas such as teaching, research, service development and clinical leadership according to experience and interest.

Experience Essential Experience of UK general practice, managing acute and long-term conditions and working within a multidisciplinary team.
