Main duties of the job

Our Criminal Justice Team works with people involved in the judicial system, supporting them to make positive changes, achieve meaningful goals and move away from offending.

Youll work closely with courts, probation services and prisons, helping people address the often-complex challenges associated with substance misuse and supporting them to build a healthier, more positive future.

To demonstrate expert and effective practice in complex situations, assessing and managing both new and existing service users. To manage a caseload in line with the service user profile.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Qualified and registered Social Worker.

Desirable

Practice Education qualification.

Experience Essential

Has experience of working with people affected by substance misuse, or a genuine interest in developing their expertise in this area. Experience of a multi-disciplinary team working.
