What it's about We are looking for a Credit Research Senior Associate to join our US Liquid Credit investment team in New York, where we manage leveraged loans and high yield bonds for multiple CLOs, open-end, and closed-end funds. Our global team of 25 investment professionals has issued 40 CLOs+ to date and manages over USD 20bn of AUM. This individual will: Serve as primary analyst for one or more sectors, owning end-to-end credit coverage Back-up other analysts on the team and assist portfolio managers with projects and assignments, as needed Conduct in-depth fundamental credit analysis on corporate issuers, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital structure review Prepare credit investment memos and present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee and portfolio managers Proactively monitor existing investments "real time", providing timely updates on company performance and related matters Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned sectors and follow relevant industry developments Provide regular input on structural, secular, and cyclical themes affecting credits and industries covered Interact with corporate issuers, arranger banks, and other market stakeholders to develop and enhance familiarity with assigned issuers and sectors Participate in daily/weekly team meetings to discuss current business activity, financial performance, and events related to credits covered Review credit agreements and other legal documentation related to issuers .newspaper { h1 { font-size: 250%; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; } h2 { font-size: 200%; } p { font-size: 100%; } What we expect 5 - 8 years of experience in credit research, fixed income analysis, leveraged finance, or related credit risk role Experience with a CLO Manager or Loan Fund Management platform (preferred) Strong financial modelling (MS Excel), analytical, writing, and communication skills Top academic credentials with emphasis on Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred What we offer Partners Group is a global firm focused on delivering high quality private markets investments via bespoke portfolio solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
