We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Coordinator – CAR & Compliance Resolution. Join our team and play a key role in overseeing issuance of CARs using the WMS BIF Process and closely monitor resolution of CARs (BIFs) in a timely manner. Reporting to Senior Trades Resources Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. Te Kōwhiringa | The Opportunity Under the direction of the Senior Trades Resource Manager, the Senior Coordinator – CAR & Compliance Resolution, alongside the coordinator-CAR & Compliance Resolution who report to this role, is primarily responsible for timely review of Kāinga Ora audit data and timely resolution of Corrective Action Requests (CARs) issued as per Kāinga Ora’s audit findings. Responsibility includes analysis of audit data to determine the level of compliance with Contractual, Company and Statutory requirements, and identifying issues requiring improvements aimed at providing world-class quality assurance service with a focus on improving customer experience. This role will contribute to the overall strategy and approach to Quality and Assurance within the Te Mahi Ngātahi Contract. What You’ll Do (key responsibilities) This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
• Ensure that company policies and procedures are implemented by the internal staff and the subcontractor base to meet the Contract Assurance requirements.
• Provide directions to the coordinator - CAR & Compliance Resolution, and act on behalf of the Senior Trades Resource Manager, as directed.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills (experience required)
• Auditing qualifications (or quality auditing experience within the building industry)
• Formal qualifications in a related discipline (Building Trades background would be advantageous).
• Quality auditing and audit data analysis experience.
• Managing a small team.
• Microsoft Excel Intermediate level
• Analysis and problem-solving ability
• Proven ability to prepare reports and gather/maintain/analyse data.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills along with attention to detail
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
• Ability to develop, build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders
