Position Summary
The primary function of the spare parts clerk is to procure, record, store repair parts and supplies. Work is performed under the general direction of the Spare Parts Administrator.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintain EAM spare parts inventory • Maintain EAM Item Master and Item attributes. • Receive parts against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies. • Place received parts in bin locations and perform appropriate ORACLE transaction. • Verify that parts are being signed out and issued to the appropriate work order. • Perform cycle counts and record in Oracle. • Create purchase requisitions • Perform 6S activities and other projects as requested.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
• Computer Proficiency with Excel, Word and ORACLE is desired. • Perform simple arithmetical computations with speed and accuracy. • Communicate effectively in the English language with customers and the public using a telephone and in face-to-face settings.
Education and Experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age • High School diploma, Associates Degree (A.A.) from a two year school or institution or three to five year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
• While performing the job duties, the employee is required to use a ladder as well as bending to retrieve or store parts in bin locations. • This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. • Must be able to move and lift objects of up to 25 lbs. • Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
