About the Role As the Manager, Digital Merchandising (App/Web), you will bring Taco Bell's digital merchandising strategy to life across the app and web—creating engaging, personalized experiences that connect customers to our brand and drive meaningful business results. You'll own the execution and optimization of our digital storefront, leading how campaigns, menu stories, promotions, and brand moments come to life through merchandising, experimentation, and data-driven decision making. Working closely with the Sr. Manager, Digital Merchandising, you'll transform strategic priorities into compelling customer experiences by leveraging personalization, segmentation, analytics, and continuous optimization. In this role, you'll partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, CRM, Analytics, Content Operations, Creative, and QA to ensure every digital experience is customer-centric, on brand, and flawlessly executed. You'll identify opportunities to improve conversion, engagement, and customer satisfaction while helping shape the future of Taco Bell's digital experiences through testing, innovation, and emerging capabilities. The Day-to-Day
• Own the end-to-end digital merchandising experience across app and web, from campaign planning and execution through optimization and performance reporting. • Partner with the Sr. Manager, Digital Merchandising to translate strategic priorities into merchandising plans, testing roadmaps, and optimization opportunities. • Lead the Call for Work (CFW) process, developing creative briefs that align merchandising strategy, customer insights, and business objectives. • Own the digital merchandising launch calendar, ensuring priorities, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables stay on track. • Build trusted partnerships across Marketing, Creative, Content Operations, Product, Engineering, Analytics, CRM, QA, Legal, and agency teams to deliver seamless, on-brand digital experiences. • Create and optimize weekly homepage and landing page experiences using customer insights, merchandising strategy, and performance data. • Own launch readiness by partnering with the Content Operations team to lead QA and ensure flawless execution across every digital experience. • Lead day-to-day bug triage, issue escalation, and cross-functional resolution to minimize customer impact during daily operations and major launches. • Drive digital merchandising experimentation through A/B testing, segmentation, personalization, and multivariate testing in partnership with Analytics and CRM. • Partner with the CRM team to develop personalized content journeys that connect merchandising strategy with customer lifecycle experiences. • Own merchandising performance reporting by translating customer insights into recommendations that improve conversion, engagement, and revenue. • Present merchandising strategies, performance insights, and optimization opportunities to influence decisions and align cross-functional partners. • Champion operational excellence by developing scalable playbooks, processes, and best practices that improve speed, quality, and execution. • Partner with Product and Engineering to shape the digital roadmap by identifying opportunities for new features, personalization, segmentation, and innovative customer experiences.
Is This You?
• Bachelors Degree required in Marketing or Business or other related field or • 8+ years in digital/site merchandising, growth/optimization, or e-commerce; team leadership or mentorship experience preferred. • Strong understanding of A/B testing, segmentation, personalization, merchandising KPIs (CVR, ATC, AOV, engagement), and how content impacts outcomes. • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing complex content calendars and launches. • Proficiency with Figma, component-based design systems, and tools like Jira; comfort navigating dashboards (e.g., Amplitude) and pulling simple data. • Exceptionally organized program manager with strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to synthesize insights, guide decision-making, and operate in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. • QSR/retail mobile app or web merchandising experience. • Familiarity with content governance systems, personalization platforms, and basic analytics or experimentation tools. Salary Range: $125,200 to $162,300 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position.
