About this role
Develop and test embedded real‑time DSP and control systems for advanced applications, including programming Nokia's Optical Modem ASIC, performing MATLAB and C++ modeling for system design, conducting real‑time firmware coding and API development, and contributing to digital ASIC simulation for system optimization and validation
• Develop embedded real-time DSP and control systems for advanced applications. • Program and test embedded control systems for Infinera's state-of-the-art Optical Modem ASIC. • Perform MATLAB simulations and hardware modeling in C++ to support system design. • Conduct real-time firmware coding, testing, and database API development. • Contribute to digital ASIC simulation for system optimization and validation.
You have:
• Bachelor's or master's in electrical and computer engineering, Software Engineering, Combinatorics and Optimization, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited school in Canada. • Proficiency in C and C++ programming. • Experience using MATLAB for technical applications. • Knowledge in DSP, control theory, and communications theory through coursework.
