Position Title: Entry Manufacturing Laborer (Helper) – 1st Shift Pay Rate: $21.86/hr. Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time 1st Shift 6:00am – 2:30pm – Monday - Friday Physical Location: Fort Worth Custom Packaging and Retail 2400 Shamrock Avenue Fort Worth, TX 76107 (817) 820-8543 The Job You Will Perform:
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) • Proficient use of reading a tape measure and safe use of utility knife • Following all trained and published safety policies and procedures • Counting and stacking finished product • Reading factory orders • Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds during regular work shift • Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment • Utilizing basic shop math • Inspecting product • Accurately completing quality checks, administrative documents, and following directions • Maintains housekeeping all the time
• This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions including but not limited to blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap • Other duties as required The Skills You Will Bring:
• Ability to read, write, and speak English • Ability to perform basic arithmetic • Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler • Ability to read manufacturing orders • Good attendance & punctuality • Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience • Stable and verifiable work history • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things, receive and follow instructions
