If you are a System Integration Intern professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Round Rock, Texas, this Summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience within our Process Systems and Solutions business, where you will contribute to innovative automation technologies that help manufacturers operate more efficiently and effectively. Working alongside experienced mentors, you will gain practical exposure to software testing, process control systems, system integration, and technology solutions that support world-class industrial automation products across web, cloud, PC, and embedded platforms. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop and enhance software tools that improve testing efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. • Learn and apply DeltaV™ Distributed Control System technologies while supporting the maintenance and improvement of testing environments. • Configure and implement control strategies, graphics development, and system improvements within DeltaV environments. • Collaborate with experienced engineering and technology professionals to solve technical challenges and support product quality initiatives. • Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities that contribute to reliable and innovative automation solutions. • Document processes, findings, and recommendations to support project goals and knowledge sharing. • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related STEM discipline. • Ability to manage responsibilities independently while meeting established deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. • Effective problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Previous internship, project, research, or other practical experience in a technical or professional setting. • Exposure to software development, automation systems, controls engineering, testing, or related technologies. • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset. • Ability to approach challenges creatively and develop innovative solutions. • Interest in industrial automation, process control systems, and emerging technologies.
