Regular, Full-Time | Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm | Pay: Paygrade 13, Hourly, depending on experience Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position Job Summary: The Charge Nurse RN assesses the priorities of patients and will make appropriate patient assignments to ensure exceptional care. You will report to the Manager. Primary Tasks:

• Anticipate and evaluate discharge needs and coordinate with multi-health disciplines in planning for care after discharge. • Perform physical and mental assessments on patients. • Create individualized plan of care and revise plan as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment; evaluate patient plan for effectiveness. • Assess pain management techniques; educate patient and family regarding pain management. • Organize nursing activities reflecting due consideration for patients needs and the needs of the facility and staff. • Knowledge of medications and IV fluids and their correct administration, based on the age of the patient and patient’s clinical condition. • Consult other departments to provide for an interdisciplinary approach to the patient’s needs. • Operate with competency in assigned unit and using specialty instruments, supplies, and equipment. • Provide education and training to nursing staff. • Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned. Required Education and Experience: · Current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing · Current CPR certification · ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire · PALS certification required within 6 months of hire
