Position Purpose:

This role supports a variety of administrative, operational, and clerical functions that contribute to the effective day-to-day operation of the Market Office. Responsibilities include payroll-related processes, invoice review and coding, office support activities, and other recurring administrative duties requiring accuracy, organization, and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support payroll-related processes, including the preparation, printing, distribution, and mailing of payroll checks. • Process, review, and code invoices and related documentation in accordance with established procedures. • Verify information for accuracy and completeness and identify discrepancies requiring further review. • Order and maintain office supplies and support general office operations. • Support administrative programs and processes that require organization, accuracy, and follow-through. • Maintain records and documentation necessary to support assigned responsibilities. • Operate standard office equipment and software applications. • Handle and distribute incoming correspondence and materials as assigned. • Support shipping and receiving activities as needed. • Responsibilities may expand to include support of mailroom operations, shipping, receiving, package handling, postage activities, and related administrative services as business needs evolve. • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications: The following are preferred:

Education Level:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Graduate of the Retail Management Certificate Program preferred.

Skills and Experiences:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Sound judgment and critical-thinking skills. • Ability to identify discrepancies, evaluate information, and take appropriate action when needed. • Strong basic math and analytical skills. • Ability to accurately review, reconcile, and process financial and administrative information. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Ability to manage recurring responsibilities with minimal oversight. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. • Valid driver’s license • Knowledge of workplace safety and security procedures. •

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

• On-site position located in the Bellevue Market Office.

• Regular use of computers, office equipment, printers, and related technology.

• May require movement throughout the office to support operational needs.

• May require occasional driving to support business operations.

• Required ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

The pay range is $19.09 to $24.81 per hour. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
