HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is hiring Tier 1 Site Protection Officer in the Burbank, CA area. These positions offer a pay rate of $36.53/hr with weekly pay.

Job Requirements Core Responsibilities Security & Risk Management ● Monitor access control systems, visitor management platforms, and delivery processes. ● Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies in coordination with GSOC, Facilities, and external partners (law enforcement and emergency services). ● Investigate and document incidents (e.g., theft, workplace disputes, suspicious activity). ● Reinforce security policies and compliance protocols with professionalism and approachability. ● Manage life safety systems and equipment, including CCTV, security/duress alarms, electronic access control, and other systems installed at assigned offices. ● Maintain accurate daily activity reports and escalate critical issues as necessary. Office Ambassador & Business Support ● Serve as a visible and approachable point of contact for employees and visitors, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor. ● Support office events (e.g., employee gatherings, executive visits, after-hours activities), ensuring safety and smooth operations. ● Partner with Facilities and office staff to bridge security operations with employee experience. ● Assist Facilities Operations with non-security-related requests when appropriate. ● Provide contractor escorts throughout the facility as required. ● Support assigned administrative tasks and perform other duties as needed. Key Attributes ● Adaptable: Balances core security responsibilities with broader office and facilities support. ● Professional Presence: Maintains authority in security matters while remaining approachable and collaborative. ● Problem Solver: Anticipates issues, thinks critically, and responds calmly under pressure. ● Communicator: Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and employee engagement. ● Cultural Alignment: Embodies company values by integrating seamlessly into the office culture—positioning security as a partner, not a barrier. Requirements: ● Minimum of 3–5 years of corporate security experience; supervisory or lead experience preferred. ● Strong knowledge of access control systems, visitor management platforms, and incident response protocols. ● Experience in customer-facing or office-support roles (Facilities, Hospitality, or Events) highly valued. ● Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and provide proactive feedback to management. ● Advanced operational knowledge of Google Workspace (G Suite) required. ● Professional demeanor with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels, from frontline staff to senior leadership. ● Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Guard Card required. ● Current, valid CPR certification preferred. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
