If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you. the achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: POSITION: CMM Programmer/Operator Job Summary: A CMM Calypso Programmer and Operator develops, runs, and troubleshoots Coordinate Measuring Machine programs using ZEISS Calypso software to inspect tight-tolerance aerospace parts. What You Will Do
• Write and update inspection programs from 3D CAD models and blueprints using ZEISS Calypso software • Create, debug, and optimize measurement routines for complex parts • Set up fixtures, calibrate probes, and run parts on the CMM. • Perform first-article, in-process, and final part checks. • Analyze data, record results, and flag out-of-tolerance non-conformances. • Work with machinists and engineers to fix quality issues. • Maintain accurate inspection records and generate formal quality reports • Interpret complex Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 standards, verifying compliance with aerospace rules like AS9100. • Debug measurement errors, adjust fixturing, and correlate programs to ensure measurement repeatability. What You Will Bring:
• High school diploma or technical/associate degree in a relevant manufacturing or quality field. • 2 to 5+ years of hands-on CMM experience in precision aerospace, defense, or high-tolerance manufacturing. • Proficiency in ZEISS Calypso metrology software. • Strong understanding of GD&T interpretation and blueprint reading. • Ability to explain inspection data clearly to production, machining, and management teams. Pay Range: $31/hour-$34/hour Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
