Key Responsibilities · Content Creation: Write comprehensive user manuals, Business process documents and other documentation from various input sources like Drafts, Spreadsheets, Videos, etc. · Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and process owners to gather the requirements and create the required documents · Standardization: Maintain a consistent style and voice across all technical documentation using industry standard frameworks. Follow customer standards for documentation · Visual Integration: Incorporate diagrams, CAD screenshots, and flowcharts to enhance document clarity. · Lifecycle Management: Maintain the document management process like naming & numbering convention, revision control, etc. We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day. Work Experience · Experience: 5+ years of technical writing experience, specifically within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial automation environment. · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communication or related field · Tools: Proficiency with authoring tools such as Google Suite, Lucid, Visio, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Oxygen XML Author, as well as Git/Markdown · Core Skills: Ability to read the draft documents, engineering drawings, process charts and understand the intent of the document. Ability to interpret the intent and processes from process videos and SME interviews to generate documents · Should have exceptional editing skills; strong grasp of structured authoring · Document Management: Ability to understand the document management control process like JIRA or equivalent.
