1. JOB PURPOSE: The Manager of the Strategy Execution Support Department is responsible for overseeing the implementation of strategic initiatives across the organization. This role ensures alignment between strategic goals and operational execution, driving efficiency and effectiveness in achieving organizational objectives. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor progress, identify challenges, and provide solutions to ensure successful strategy execution. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Manager will also play a key role in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the organization. 2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Job Specific: • Manage the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects effectively and efficiently. • Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. • Consult with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations on strategy execution. • Develop and maintain tools and frameworks to support strategy execution and performance tracking. • Review and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and recommend improvements. • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align stakeholders on strategic priorities and execution plans. • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on the status of strategic initiatives. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all strategy execution activities. • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in strategy execution. Generic: • Manage the allocation of resources to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives. • Lead the development of performance metrics to measure the success of strategy execution. • Monitor the alignment of departmental activities with the overall organizational strategy. • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and feedback on strategic initiatives. • Develop and implement best practices for strategy execution within the organization. • Review and approve project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure feasibility and alignment with strategic goals. • Initiate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of strategy execution processes. • Lead the resolution of issues and challenges that arise during the execution of strategic initiatives. • Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform strategy execution efforts. • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments to support strategy execution. 3. COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIP: Internal: • Collaborate with senior leadership to align on strategic priorities and execution plans. • Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams to provide updates on the progress of strategic initiatives. • Facilitate internal workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration among stakeholders. • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their understanding of strategy execution processes. • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management on the status of strategic initiatives. External: • Engage with external consultants and vendors to support the execution of strategic initiatives. • Communicate with industry experts and peers to gather insights and best practices for strategy execution. • Represent the organization at external events and forums related to strategy execution and management. • Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives. • Prepare and deliver presentations to external audiences on the organization's strategy execution efforts. 4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategy execution, project management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Professional Certifications PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred. 5. CORE / TECHNICAL SKILLS: As per the approved Competency dictionary 6.
