Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist!Job DescriptionThe Supply Chain Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective flow of materials through the warehouse and broader supply chain. This position focuses on shipping and receiving, inventory management, and continuous process optimization, while working closely with internal teams and external partners to support on-time delivery, accurate inventory, and reliable service.Responsibilities
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods. • Oversee packaging, labeling, and documentation requirements for all shipments to maintain accuracy and compliance. • Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to negotiate rates and resolve shipping issues promptly. • Implement and follow procedures to track and trace shipments, minimizing delays and disruptions. • Maintain organized control of materials and products within the warehouse. • Develop and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize stockouts. • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock levels and prevent overstocking. • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and identify opportunities for improvement. • Implement and utilize inventory management software systems to streamline processes and improve visibility. • Perform kitting and issue materials to job orders to support the assembly team. • Continuously evaluate supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and implement solutions to address them. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standard operating procedures. • Use ERP systems to identify trends and patterns that inform decision-making and drive improvements. • Perform accurate data entry related to orders, inventory, shipments, and invoicing. • Support procurement and ordering activities to ensure materials are available when needed. • Operate RF scanners and perform picking tasks to support order fulfillment. • Provide responsive customer service and clear communication to internal stakeholders and external partners. • Ensure all logistics activities comply with established processes and quality standards. Essential Skills
• Experience in supply chain management, including shipping and receiving, ordering, and logistics. • Proficiency with inventory management practices, including auditing, forecasting, kitting, and issuing materials. • Ability to perform accurate and timely data entry for orders, inventory, invoicing, and shipment records. • Hands-on experience using ERP systems to manage and analyze supply chain data. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, internal teams, and customers. • Knowledge of procurement processes and the ability to support purchasing and material planning activities. • Ability to operate RF scanners and perform picking tasks in a warehouse environment. • Customer service mindset with a focus on reliability, responsiveness, and problem solving. • Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and well-structured warehouse operations. • Resume in general supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations. • Familiarity with invoicing processes related to shipments and inventory transactions. • Experience implementing or improving standard operating procedures in a warehouse or supply chain setting. • Ability to analyze data from ERP and other systems to identify trends and drive process improvements. • Comfort working cross-functionally with assembly, procurement, and other operational teams. Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a warehouse environment that supports active shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts running approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work involves regular interaction with ERP systems, inventory management tools, RF scanners, and standard warehouse equipment. The environment is fast-paced and detail-oriented, requiring adherence to established processes and safety practices while collaborating closely with assembly and other operational teams. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fountain Valley, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
