Job Title: Records Digitization Specialist (Part Time)Job DescriptionThe Records Digitization Specialist is a temporary, project-based role tasked with converting physical technical records into a digital format. This project aims to preserve archived records electronically, allowing the physical space they occupy to be reclaimed. The position will last for the duration of the scanning project and will conclude once all records have been fully digitized and organized. Responsibilities • Prepare documents for scanning. • Scan documents to PDF format. • Organize scanned documents. • Save and name digital files consistently to create a reliable electronic record archive. • Prepare original paper records for disposal or offsite storage once scanning is confirmed and verified. • Lift boxes weighing between 20-30 lbs. Essential Skills • Experience in data entry and scanning. • Ability to work independently without supervision. • Proficiency in using Adobe software. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. • Basic computer knowledge. • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Knowledgeable in Adobe Professional. • Good organizational skills. • English speaking. Work EnvironmentThis position requires working between 15 to 24 hours a week. The minimum requirement is three days a week, preferably on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but there is flexibility to work on Tuesday and/or Friday instead. Work hours are from 10 AM to 3 or 4 PM. The maximum is four days a week on any four days of the workweek, with the same working hours. The role involves standing for long periods and working independently in an office setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Davie, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
