Job Title: BIM/Revit TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled BIM/Revit Technician for a leading structural engineering consulting firm based in Detroit, MI. This role involves creating and managing 3D Revit models that support the development of structural designs and the production of construction documents for projects across various sectors, including healthcare, education, science & technology, federal, and commercial industries. The position offers professional growth opportunities and exposure to innovative structural projects in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities • Create and manage 3D Revit models for structural design development. • Produce construction documents across various sectors. • Coordinate BIM efforts and manage construction documents. • Maintain project standards and support Revit and AutoCAD users. • Develop and implement BIM standards and best practices. • Mentor team members and collaborate closely with structural engineers. Essential Skills • Minimum of 3 years of Revit experience in a structural engineering environment. • At least 4 years of AutoCAD experience supporting structural or architectural projects. • Proficiency in creating and managing 3D structural models. • Strong understanding of structural systems and building construction. • Experience with Navisworks and creating detailed construction documents. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working with existing structures and construction administration. • Revit Structure Certified Professional preferred. • Associate's Degree preferred. • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and strong communication skills. • Experience developing BIM standards and workflows. • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a hybrid work environment in Detroit, MI, offering a mix of office and remote work. The collaborative office setting involves working alongside structural engineers, BIM specialists, and industry experts. Team members engage in daily project coordination meetings and benefit from ongoing mentorship and technical development. The role encompasses projects in healthcare, education, federal, science & technology, forensics, and construction engineering sectors.
