Job Title: Entry Level Electrical Test EngineerJob DescriptionApply engineering principles, experience, and various analysis tools to develop test plans and procedures for testing design parts and components. Ensure design feasibility and that parts meet design acceptance criteria, performance level targets, and any applicable regulatory or internal standards. Create data settings, test specifications and standards, and test schedules. Prepare and set up test equipment, conduct moderately complex tests, and document and summarize test results and conclusions. Verify the accuracy and thoroughness of testing, determine if additional testing is needed, and analyze and interpret test results. Predict performance and failure, provide required product and design data, identify issues, develop countermeasures, and communicate test results clearly in written reports and formal presentations. Propose design changes and recommend countermeasures based on analysis of testing results. Essential Skills • Experience in hardware and software testing. • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles. • Experience with oscilloscopes and other testing equipment. • Testing experience in the automotive sector. • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 6 years of related experience as a substitute. • Over 5 years of test engineering experience in the relevant area of specialty. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in test and confirmation per area of specialty. Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic and collaborative environment, focusing on testing and analysis of electrical components. Utilize advanced technologies and equipment such as oscilloscopes, ensuring a thorough and precise testing process. The role involves clear communication and teamwork to ensure all design and performance criteria are met. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raymond, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
