Job summary This role is for a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant - Bank at Avery Healthcare, located in Stafford. It's a temporary position with an hourly pay of £12.72. Main duties of the job As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing activities to engage the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe living environment, contributing to the home's positive image, reporting any changes in residents' conditions, supporting with preparing supplies, and establishing community links. ABOUT THE ROLE

As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be tosupportthe Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the resident's physical, cognitive, and social well-being.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

Maintaininga safe living and working environment,contributing to the positive and professional image of thehome. Reporting any changes in residents physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and the care staff. Supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed. Supporting establishing links with the local community (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to encourage access to the wider community and promote intergenerational activity.

Have previously worked with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting.
