TeamHealth is seeking motivated, ambitious, and highly skilled nurse practitioners and physician assistants to join our Hospital Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician Fellowship Program. About the Fellowship TeamHealth's hospital medicine APC fellowship program offers six months of structured, hands-on training designed for newly graduated NPs and PAs pursuing a career in inpatient medicine. Through one-on-one mentorship, clinical rotations, and didactic learning, fellows gain the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed to transition successfully into HM practice.
Fellows work alongside experienced hospital medicine physicians and APCs in a collaborative environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, professional growth, and patient-centered care.
Fellowship Location and Attendance Requirements The TeamHealth hospital medicine APC fellowship is hosted at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Fellows will complete their clinical training and educational activities onsite at this facility throughout the duration of the program.
Onsite participation is required. Candidates must either... • Relocate to the Myrtle Beach area for the duration of the fellowship • Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Grand Strand Medical Center This fellowship is a hands-on, immersive training experience and is not eligible for remote participation. Fellows are expected to maintain a consistent onsite presence to fully engage in clinical rotations, educational programming, and mentorship opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements To be considered, applicants must... • Be a recent or upcoming graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program • Obtain licensure and board certification prior to fellowship start date • Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in hospital medicine Applications are accepted year-round. Candidates may be considered for either the January 1 or July 1 fellowship cohort depending on program timing and eligibility requirements.
Career Opportunities Following Fellowship Upon successful completion of the fellowship, graduates may be considered for full-time hospitalist APC opportunities within TeamHealth's South East Division hospital medicine network. Geographic preferences are considered whenever possible, though placement is based on organizational needs and available opportunities.
