Standard Job Description Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM discipline from an accredited college with 2 years of relevant professional experience. Considered experienced, but still a learner.

- Knowledge and experience in Electronic Assembly manufacturing (CCA, Harness, &Cables)

- Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and translate into work instructions.

- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Process Improvement experience

- Experience creating manufacturing plans and work instructions

- This facility requires special access; therefore, you must be a US Citizen.

- Have an existing clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Skills - Experience with Standards (AS 91000 / AS9102), IPC, J-STD, and MIL-STSD specifications - Experience with disposition of non-conforming products and with root cause/corrective action definition. - Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement. - Ability to liaison between Production, Program, Logistics and other support teams. - SAP ERP, Apriso Experience - Windchill PLM, MPM-Link Experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00
